About the print finish

Image size; the full photograph and original proportions are preserved. The white paper border adds 2 cm on every side; the frame surrounds it. A paper border is not a passe-partout. Finishes and prices are provisional; frames are an illustration. Your print is made to order and shipped directly to your delivery address. Shipping is shown in the cart.

WhiteWall also offers a real passe-partout with anti-reflective Artglass AR museum glass. That finish is available on request and is separate from this glass-free selection. Other white frames include white maple (Basel 15/31 mm and wooden ArtBox) and Hamburg 20 mm in matt white or white maple.

Print orders are available in the test shop. Prices and finishes shown are provisional.

About the photograph

The rhythm between the trees.

Dark trees are scattered across a snowy hillside. Some form small groups; others stand alone. The white snow makes the distance between them as visible as the trees themselves.

Random Trees presents a winter forest as a graphic composition. Your eye moves from trunk to trunk, following repetitions and small interruptions. The simplicity of the whole leaves room to keep noticing those differences.

The photograph in print

The dark lines remain clear in a small print. A larger format gives more space to the individual trees and the rhythm between them.
